Head of Group Management Accounting

AVG requires a new head of Group Management Accounting due to continued expansion.

  • The position is responsible for Management Accounts for the parent and its six internationally based subsidiaries
  • Assisting the business in advising, explaining and analysing accounting and issues.
  • Direct report to CFO and responsibility for creating the reporting standards for internal business analysis.
  • Providing Financial Analysis and Management Accounting Support.
  • Responsibility for setting up and managing the in-house Management Accounting team.
  • Assisting the CFO on all aspects of running the Finance and Accounting functions.

Requirements:

  • University education specializing in economy or something similar
  • ACCA Qualification
  • Experience in management accounting - 4 years minimum
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills including experience working with cross-functional teams and supervisory experience
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Excellent PC skills (e-mail client, Internet, MS Office - particularly Excel) SAP experience an advantage, Cognos reporting an advantage
  • Critical thinking, active approach, responsibility, reliability, and thoroughness required
  • International travel required
